Photo missive from Porto, Portugal

An update in photos from my first day in Porto.

Hi friends,

I am possibly in love with Porto.

My Airbnb host told me that 70% of his guests are here to scope out the city and eventually move here. I can totally see why.

Many parts of its culture suit me: there are a lot of [US & non-US] ex-pats here (today, I met people from Brazil, Greece, and Russia), the city is quite safe, there are photographic moments everywhere, people have generally left me alone, and there is an abundance of decadent pastries and seafood.

I took a pastel de nata baking class—the teacher thanked us for coming to the early 10 am class (I love a night owl culture!).
