Hi friends! Please enjoy some bonus interview content I had with Alexandra LittleJohn that didn’t make it into the first article.
She’s currently doing sales at an espresso machine company, and we went into how she approaches sales and community.
She doesn’t think that you could have sales without having the community involved in some way. On a sales trip, she talked to the cafe co-owner and learned that “they did not want to have the current salesperson for that region because he was pushy and a little older and kind of insensitive, like that kind of vibe.” The co-owner told her, “Thank you so much for not sending that guy. We would much rather work with you because we know you can meet our needs, and you understand the community.”
